At Ashmore Mower Centre, our workshop provides professional servicing, repairs and diagnostics for lawn mowers, ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters, blowers, generators and a wide range of outdoor power equipment.

From routine maintenance through to fault diagnosis and major repairs, our experienced workshop team works to get your equipment operating properly and back to work as quickly as possible.

Conveniently located on the Gold Coast, we service equipment for homeowners, commercial operators, contractors, body corporates and businesses from across the region.

Routine Servicing

Regular servicing is one of the best ways to keep your outdoor power equipment reliable, safe and performing at its best.

Our routine servicing can include:

  • Engine oil & filter replacement (if applicable)
  • Air filter inspection, cleaning or replacement
  • Spark plug inspection and replacement
  • Intake and exhaust valve adjustments
  • Fuel system and carburettor inspection
  • Blade inspection and sharpening where applicable
  • Drive system inspection
  • Belt and pulley inspection
  • Cable and control adjustments
  • Lubrication of applicable components
  • Battery and charging system checks
  • General safety inspection
  • Operational testing

The exact work required varies depending on the machine, engine, age and condition.

Whether your mower is used every weekend at home or your equipment works commercially throughout the week, preventative maintenance can help reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend the working life of your machine.

Repairs & Diagnostics

Sometimes a machine needs more than a service.

Our workshop can diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults across outdoor power equipment.

Common workshop repairs include:

  • Machines that won’t start
  • Poor running or loss of power
  • Fuel system and carburettor problems
  • Drive and self-propelled faults
  • Starter and charging system faults
  • Belt and pulley failures
  • Cutting deck problems
  • Blade and spindle repairs
  • Engine faults
  • Electrical and ignition problems
  • Chainsaw and brushcutter repairs
  • Generator faults
  • Ride-on mower and zero-turn repairs

Where additional work is identified during inspection, we can advise you of the required repairs before proceeding where appropriate.

The Ashmore Difference

More Than Just a Service & Repair Workshop

At Ashmore Mower Centre, servicing doesn’t end with replacing a spark plug and changing the oil.

Our workshop is part of an established outdoor power equipment dealership, with access to manufacturer technical information, genuine replacement parts, qualified service technicians, experienced parts interpreters, and knowledgeable sales staff.

That means we can support your machine throughout its working life — from purchasing the right equipment through to servicing, repairs and replacement parts.

Genuine Parts Support

Where available, we use and recommend genuine manufacturer parts to maintain reliability, fit and performance.

Our dedicated parts department gives our workshop access to an extensive range of replacement and service parts, with additional parts available through our supplier network.

Experienced Outdoor Power Equipment Specialists

Outdoor power equipment is what we do.

Our workshop specialises in the service and repair of lawn mowers, robotic lawn mowers, ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters, generators, and other powered garden and outdoor power equipment.

Local Gold Coast Support

When your equipment needs attention, you’re dealing with a local team.

Our showroom, parts department and workshop operate together, making it easier to source parts, provide technical support and keep customers informed throughout the repair process, with our online Service & Repair Status Checker providing convenient access to up-to-date job progress and repair status information.

Brands We Service & Repair

Our workshop works with equipment from many of Australia’s leading outdoor power equipment manufacturers.

Brands we regularly support include:

  • Honda
  • Husqvarna
  • Masport
  • Bushranger
  • SCAG
  • Rover
  • Gravely
  • Ariens
  • Segway
  • Echo
  • Atom Industries
  • Aussie Pumps
  • Briggs & Stratton
  • Kawasaki Engines
  • Victa
  • SupaSwift

We may also be able to service equipment from other manufacturers depending on the machine, its condition and the availability of replacement parts.

For older or discontinued equipment, parts availability may determine whether a repair is economically practical.

Warranty Repairs

As an outdoor power equipment dealership, we can assist with warranty assessment and repairs for supported manufacturers where applicable.

Warranty repairs are subject to the individual manufacturer’s warranty terms, assessment procedures and approval.

In each case, we will need to inspect the equipment and gather the necessary supporting information before submitting a warranty claim to the manufacturer for assessment and approval prior to repairs proceeding.

Please bring your proof of purchase with the machine whenever requesting warranty assistance.

Service Turnaround Times

How Long Will My Repair Take?

Workshop turnaround times vary throughout the year.

Demand for mower and outdoor power equipment servicing is highly seasonal, particularly during periods of rapid grass growth and peak mowing season on the Gold Coast.

Rather than publishing an estimated timeframe that may quickly become outdated, we maintain our current workshop turnaround information through our Job Status system.

For our most up-to-date workshop turnaround times, please check the Job Status tool.

Please keep in mind that individual repair times can also be affected by:

  • Parts availability
  • Manufacturer warranty approval
  • Additional faults discovered during inspection
  • Specialist components
  • Supplier lead times
  • The age and condition of the machine

Our team works through workshop jobs as efficiently as possible while ensuring repairs are completed properly.

Service Areas

Ashmore Mower Centre provides workshop servicing and repairs for customers throughout the Gold Coast.

We regularly assist customers from:

Ashmore, Southport, Gold Coast Hinterland, Nerang, Molendinar, Benowa, Bundall, Labrador, Parkwood, Arundel, Carrara, Broadbeach, Mermaid Waters, Robina, Varsity Lakes, Burleigh, Helensvale, Pacific Pines, Oxenford, Coomera, Mudgeeraba and surrounding Gold Coast suburbs.

Customers from outside the immediate area are also welcome to bring equipment to our workshop.

Before Bringing Your Machine In

A few simple things can help make the workshop check-in process easier.

Where possible:

  • Bring the complete machine rather than individual components.
  • Tell us as much as possible about the fault or symptoms.
  • Let us know when the problem occurs and whether it is intermittent.
  • Bring keys for ride-on mowers and other keyed equipment.
  • Bring proof of purchase for warranty enquiries.
  • Advise us of any recent repairs or parts already replaced.

Good fault information can make diagnosis considerably easier, particularly for intermittent problems.

Is My Machine Worth Repairing?

Not every machine should be repaired.

Age, overall condition, parts availability and the estimated repair cost all need to be considered.

If inspection indicates that a machine may no longer be economical to repair, our workshop can advise you before significant repair work is undertaken.

Because Ashmore Mower Centre also sells new outdoor power equipment, our team can explain replacement options if repairing your existing machine no longer makes financial sense.

Professional Workshop Support on the Gold Coast

Whether your mower is due for its annual service, your chainsaw won’t start, your ride-on has stopped driving or your commercial equipment needs attention, the team at Ashmore Mower Centre is here to help.

With a dedicated workshop, parts department, showroom and experienced outdoor power equipment team all in one location, we can support your equipment long after it leaves the showroom.
