The PROKUT Platinum Sugihara 42″ Guide Bar is a premium solid professional guide bar manufactured in Japan by Sugihara, one of the world’s most respected guide bar manufacturers. Precision engineered from a single piece of premium-grade steel, this guide bar is designed to deliver exceptional durability, outstanding cutting performance and long service life for the most demanding forestry, arborist and commercial applications.
Featuring a replaceable sprocket nose, hardened HRC60 rails and Sugihara’s renowned multi-stage heat treatment process, this guide bar provides superior wear resistance while reducing friction and extending the service life of both the guide bar and chain. The polished lacquer finish protects against corrosion, while the heavy-duty three-rivet sprocket nose ensures maximum strength under the toughest cutting conditions.
This guide bar uses a 137 drive link chain. Many compatible chainsaw models were originally supplied with 135 drive link chains, so your existing chain will need to be lengthened or replaced when fitting this guide bar.
